Cupping is an ancient method of treatment that has been used in the therapy and cure of a broad range of conditions throughout the eastern and western cultures of the world. conditions of blood and muscular related disorders such as hypertension, rheumatic conditions ranging from arthritis, sciatica, displaced bones, ligaments and spine, back pain and migraines, through to anxiety and general physical well-being.

It is a comfortable safe and effective treatment to alleviate local congestion of blood flow: a vacuum is created in glass or plastic cups placed on the skin by means of heat and suction which draws up underlying tissue , removing old stagnation of blood and toxins, breaking down adhesions and releasing fascia around the muscles, improving mobility and flexibility straight after each treatment.

Cupping can be used as a stand alone therapy or combined with massage therapy. Different cupping techniques such as flash, localised and moving cupping are used to treat a variety of conditions which will be advised through consultation. Dark circular marks are usually left on the skin typically 3-5 days , could be more if the skin type is very fair.
